LW1x semi-final

Just finished watching Niamh Ní Cheilleachair’s semi-final race (in the women’s lightweight single sculls) on the nifty online video provided at the WorldRowing.com site.
She came fifth in a time of 7:31.32, ahead of the Swiss boat. The first three go through to the A final – and there was a photo-finish for third between Germany and Greece, with Germany winning out by 0.01 seconds – so Niamh will go through to the B final at 9:30 on Saturday (1:30am Irish time).
