Heather and Sinead came fifth in their final, setting a new personal best (6:54.79) in the course of a very fast race where the Germans set a new world record (6:48.47) and the top three teams each beat the old record of 6:49.90.
The Lightweight men’s four came second in their final, gaining a silver medal, while the lightweight men’s pair came sixth in their B-final, ranking 12th overall.
