Out of curiosity I just tried to launch an RTÉ stream to see who was winning the Hurling All-Ireland final (it’s Cork vs. Galway, so one of the combinations in which I’d have most interest). THen I noticed this note on the Radio One page:

RTÉ very much regrets that it cannot facilitiate online broadcasts of the 2005 All Ireland Hurling and Football finals. RTÉ has been unable to secure permission to make these matches available on the web. We apologise for any disappointment caused.

Ah well.
