On the way back from De Kalb I stopped at an exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, Technotopia vs. Technopacalypse. I was hoping to encourage readers to get to it if they could, but it looks like the final event is at 2pm today! The $15 charge is a bit hefty, but I for one felt it was worth it.
One unexpected pleasure was seeing some of GNN‘s videos on a big (stage sized) screen. I’d seen their video for Eminem before – their speaker claimed that they’ve had five million downloads of it – but some of the others, mainly dealing with the ‘war on terror’ and 9-11 – I had missed. As usual low-res versions are available for download from the site.
