Euronews in Arabic?

I’ve previously posted about Euronews plans to expand into extra languages, specifically those of potential accession members of the EU. At that time I noted that several member countries of the Euronews consortium – such as Eygpt – did not have service in their language. Now it appears the EU is considering providing funding for Euronews service in Arabic though the situation is far from settled.
