Podcasting a temporary choice for prospective community radio stations

The Phoenix area, where they are based, is, it seems, the largest metropolitan area in the United States (3 million people) without a community station. Of particular interest to me was the mention that “while the foundation is awaiting an FCC decision, it is trying to raise money to provide podcast programs on its Web site.”
