Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s super-DMCA!

Amid the recent coverage of ‘super-DMCA’ proposals at state level, I was happy not to see Illinois being mentioned. Looks like I was a bit hasty in my optimism. Aaron Schwartz has a piece revealing that Illinois passed its own super-DMCA last year. Mr Schwartz has a call-to-action for those based in Illinois. I suspect it may be too late for the state (in the short term) but could serve as a lesson to those who think the bills cannot pass in other states.
