Irish government connectivity – a follow-up

July 7th, 2003 | by aobaoill |

Further to my earlier comments, I was pleased to get a mail on Thursday from Denise Carney in the Department of the Taoiseach:

Thank you for your e-mail of 2nd July regarding problems you experienced in subscribing to the What’s New Bulletin on the Department of the Taoiseach website. We are having problems with this at the moment, but we are attempting to rectify the problem as soon as possible. However, there is a facility on the Press Release page whereby people can subscribe to a mailing list for all press releases added to the site, which you may find useful in the interim.

I’ve now signed up to this mailing list. There are three options:

I wish to notified by email when the following areas of the site are updated:

  • Government Press Releases
  • Taoiseachs Press Releases and Speeches
  • Press Office

I’ve signed up only for updates to the Taoiseach’s site, as I only have so many hours in the day! The actual content is not forwarded, just the title of the update (e.g. 04.07.03 Speech by the Taoiseach, Mr Bertie Ahern, T.D., at the Biennial Conference of Congress) and a link. Should be useful.

Sorry, comments for this entry are closed at this time.
