Go Heather!

My sister’s racing at the Lucerne World Cup Regatta this morning, so I’m up late trying to catch the race. She’s in the first heat of the Women’s Lightweight Single Sculls, at 8:40am Central European (Summer) Time – which is 1:40am here in Illinois.
It’s at times like this that I really appreciate the internet. A few years ago I would have had to wait for a phone call from someone at home, whereas now I can follow the race ‘live’ thanks to the race tracker on the results section of the FISA site – the results are given every 500m in real time, which is wonderful. And thanks to the documents available in advance I know which heat she’s in, and even which lane (5)!
In any event, I’m crossing my fingers – best of luck sis!
