RTE is reporting flooding in what it calls the ‘Spanish Arch area of the city.’ An accurate description, of course, though I was amused to see that the picture they use to illustrate the story online is taken from … Flood St.I suppose saying ‘Floods in Flood St area of city’ would have sounded like ‘dog bites man’ and caused readers to ask: why were so many businesses in that area uninsured, given the name of the street?
