Phantom FM gains licence

October 2nd, 2003 | by aobaoill |

Phantom FM, a popular alternative rock station in Dublin, has gained a broadcasting licence. Only problem – its a temporary licence, and only covers weekends. However, the station seems hopeful of gaining a permanent licence in the future. I used to listen to Phantom when I was in Dublin, and was sorry to see it fail, successively, to succeed in licencing competitions. Of course, the station continues to broadcast online.
