Al Gore to run TV channel?

Al Gore is seemingly considering buying a TV digital news channel. This follows, of course, from recent reports of plans – I thought associated with Gore also – to start a new liberal radio network (Al Franken is working on plans for a show on that network). I’m unsure whether the plans make full sense, but it may be that the left/liberals have no choice in the US but try this approach.
