As you might expect (hey, its incestuous blog news), the story that Dr Pepper plans to infiltrate the blogging community for viral marketing purposes is getting quite a bit of coverage. It seems somewhat silly to have gone public on this: “Look, we’re trying to manipulate you!”
This (and no, I’m not linking to their blog, or chasing down their ‘fans’) is really one of the weirder examples I’ve seen recently – and is probably not going to get as good a response as the I Love Your Work blog. And for good reason. Hmmph.
