Bernard Allen of Fine Gael spoke on radio this morning (audio link), repeating his call for the government to freeze plans for electronic voting. Meantime Minister Cullen has launched a EUR5m advertising campaign. An interesting – and misleading – claim at the end of the RTE piece is that there is no system including a paper audit trail, and that it would be technically difficult to put in place.
