At What Cost?

February 4th, 2004 | by aobaoill |

You’ll probably have seen the logos in recent times, as we went through early development. Now it’s time to announce the At What Cost? campaign, and the associated related website, which is being hosted on funferal.
At What Cost? is a campaign questioning the introduction of electronic voting in Ireland, and utilises the internet to enable and support local campaigns. We will be providing resources online, such as leaflet designs and letter writing tools. We also plan to expand our awareness-raising activities as the campaign progresses.

    Andrew,
Are you aware that “At What Cost?” is a common name and meme for anti-unionization campaigns here in the U.S. of A.? For example, the anti-unionization campaign at Cornell (the campaign that sent the speaker for the GSAC debate the fall before last) went by that name.

No that is interesting – I hadn’t been aware of that, and it obviously wasn’t a conscious influence! 🙂
