St Patrick’s Day

Again from the Beeb, the UK plans to propose St Patrick’s Day as a ‘final deadline’: in effect the start of war. Given the massive Irish opposition to the war, the Irish government should use this happenstance to highlight their opposition to war. Unfortunately, toadies that they are, they are very much on the fence – they don’t even think preparations for war are happening yet, were you to trust their statements!
