Vote swapping in 2004

I’ve received a mail regarding a proposed ‘vote swapping’ system for the US presidential election, which would allow wanna-be Nader voters in swing states to swap with wanna-be Kerry voters in solidly red or blue states. There’s something quaint about such a system, which relies so much on trust of those one does not know, but which arises out of a profound disaffection with the electoral system of the United States.
