Reading the excerpts provided by the BBC (which are currently incomplete, and based on what I’ve heard myself, it looks like at least the following will go against the motion:
Germany, Syria, China, Russia, France, Chile and Angola
Those in favour include:
US, UK, Spain, Bulgaria, Guinea
Those I can’t read:
Mexico, Cameroon
I missed Pakistan – rather I heard it, but didn’t catch the stance.
On this basis, there are 3 vetoes, and the motion won’t gain the necessary votes (9) either. 5 in favour, 7 against, 3 others. Iraq are talking now…
