A State of Disconnect

There is, in Ireland, a branch of the state responsible for making any official or public document available to the public. You can buy many useful things (including Irish language dictionaries, maps, statutory instruments, etc.) from them. Your task – find it.
This should be easy, you would think. This is the central source for printed materials produced by the state. They are both a publisher and a bookshop. A website – at the very least an email address – should not be beyond them. And you would _think_ that they would merit a listing in the directory of state agencies maintained by the State. I’ve written previously on this topic – the messed up nature of online communication by a government that has the gall to think of itself as an online leader.
I’m serious about asking people to try to find it. If you know the name of the body (I’ve avoided giving clues in this entry, to increase the level of difficulty) you have a headstart, but even then it’s not trivial. I’ve had to disable comments on the site for the moment (Damned spammers!) but would welcome reports by email. I’ll give an update with more clues to see if it helps people track down contact details (I spent a lot of time to find very little).
Update: I’ve received some responses to this post.

Sorry, comments for this entry are closed at this time.
