Clear Channel and Air America

John at DIYmedia has some interesting ideas about why Clear Channel decided to start syndicating Air America. I’m not sure it’s quite as devious as he suggests, but it is good to see someone else who’s not cheering at the development as marking ‘success’ – liberal commercial media may be more palatable to many than conservative shock jocks, but it’s still the same model of radio, just with a different slant.
