Last post of the evening? Things not looking so good

Wow. Things have changed a bit since that flurry of entries at the beginning of the evening. I’m at the party, which is quieter than it was, and everyone’s somewhat upset at the turn things have taken. With Bush taking Florida (predicted for Kerry this morning), even though Kerry seems to have taken Hawaii (whoo-hoo) Kerry looks set to go down in defeat. Obviously there’s still room for an upset – Ohio is close and they might end up counting the provisional ballots, which could seemingly take 10 days!
I’ve had a few email and IM conversations, but wasn’t able to keep my attention on the screen, which explains in part the lack of updating until now [as witness this entry is being finished and uploaded after I got home from the wake – as I think it should now officially be called].
