New weblog analysing participatory journalism

I just came, today, across an interesting new website, Unpacking my Library, run by an NYC Indymedia activist. It’s focused on research on participatory journalism and already has some interesting posts. Definitely something that will be staying in my RSS reader.
Speaking of readers, I can’t speak highly enough of NewsFire. It’s still in development but has a very nice interface and does most of what I want. Now all I need is a clean, simple weblog editor. I’ve played with a few but never found one that made me entirely happy (or that gave me enough time to get addicted before all the functions got locked down).
