Making it up as they go

What a disturbing ruling. According the the US ninth circuit it’s reasonable for employers to require that women wear make-up. Note that it’s not that employees wear make-up, or that employees be neatly groomed. Rather make-up is seemingly an area in which sex-based discrimination is legally protected. Seemingly “a rule for women enforcing face paint is “equal” to a rule forbidding men from wearing it.”
