Birthday thoughts
April 9th, 2005 | by aobaoill |Looking at the sidebar – to check I’d removed all of the 780 spam trackbacks that came in last night and this morning – I noticed that there are no ‘this day in previous years’ entries. Can it really be that I’ve never blogged on my birthday?
Yeah, it’s my birthday, and this one is the big 3-0. I’m much more sanguine about this than I thought I might be. Maybe it’s the kind gifts and thoughts from family and friends, maybe it’s my new bicycle (coupled with glorious weather), maybe I’m just getting old and content, but my mood can only be described as good – even with the flood of spam trackbacks. Happy birthday to me!

Ah-ha, and his ears prick up. It’s a Bianchi Avenue – I’m really very pleased with it, though I need to take it back to have some things tightened – the handlebars are a little loose, which is never good.
