Minor site changes

I’ve done some minor (but necessary) work on the site today. First I fixed the problem with my spamguard, which was blocking a lot of would-be commenters. Checking out the problem brought the activity log back to my attention – I’ll be checking it regularly for possible problems, but would also appreciate mail from anyone with issues.
Second, I changed the layout of the monthly archives. They now take up less space (yay!) and are more easily browsable. In short I now list the titles of entries, sorted by general topic (alternative media and activism; other media; politics and society) with personal/meta entries and ‘trivia’ in the sidebar.
Most of which makes little difference to the casual reader, but there it is.
