St Louis it is

Got into St Louis about 30 minutes ago – with some last minute confusion when we realised the directions we were following were for people entering town from a different direction. Once we got near the hotel it was hard to miss – I’m on the 21st floor of what I think is a 27 storey tower. Most of my comrades are in the other tower, from what I can see.
The ‘academic braintrust’ – essentially a forum to discuss how academics can intersect with and assist media reform movements – starts in about 30 minutes. While I have ethernet in my room I’m not sure of the WiFi/internet situation in the actual conference area, so while I will have posts they may be some time after the event – and food will have to play a role at some point.
